Modern luxury couture by Kartikeya

Good Morning lovelies! It's Friday in the UAE and it's the equivalent of Sunday elsewhere in the world. Wishing you a happy weekend! This post is about this talented couture designer from India - Kartikeya. Pictures truly don't do justice to just how detail oriented and luxurious his clothes are. I was fortunate enough to prance around on this gorgeous embellished short suit whilst he was showcasing at the Arab Fashion Week last season in Dubai. The pop of pink to this otherwise beige fabric creates that oomph effect and makes it a bit exciting and attention seeking."This short suit be so good, Imma thinking to get it" pose ??Life is always better sideways...😉😉Jacket with the most gorgeous embellishment and embroidery combo....ting ting ting ✨✨✨God is always in the details 💜💜✨✨✨What do you think about this outfit? Would you wear it? I feel this can be carried over from a wedding function to a night out or even a daytime casual look if you pair it with sneakers and change the hair to a messy top bun or something more funky. Oh and my photos are all shot on the iPhone X by my version of Instagram husband 😉.To get more familiar with Kartikeya's range of work I have added some pictures of his last show at Arab Fashion Week from his Instagram account @kartikeyaindia via the @arabfashioncouncil.Not afraid to play with colours... As you can see he plays with a wide range of colours and embroideries and fabrics to create his unique blend of couture. It's sort of the mixing of the old world with the new. But as with all good things it comes at a good price. Would you consider spending for couture? There is no doubt that the craftsmanship involved leads to a garment that is stunning and beautiful like a piece of art. From the fit to the fabric involved everything is just perfect. I think the answer is very individualistic and boils down to what lengths are you willing to go for style and whether you can actually afford that style. What would you do????? Do tell 😉😉Ok that's it from me. Until next kritical post. Xoxo
